On November 16, 2024, the Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia (PAM) Promotion of Profession Committee (POP), in collaboration with the Malaysia Architecture Students Alliance (MASA), hosted a captivating design forum, “The Interplay of Architecture and Cultural Identity.” Held in conjunction with the UIA International Forum 2024, the event welcomed a global audience of professionals and students.
Our Design Director, Ar. Esmonde Yap, shared insights on integrating climate, culture, and community into architecture, emphasizing the importance of cultural roots in shaping meaningful spaces. He also unveiled the UIA Impact Project, a partnership with Kuala Lumpur City Hall to uplift living conditions and foster community development.
This forum reaffirmed Spatial Factors Design Group’ commitment to design innovation, cultural relevance, and socially impactful architecture.
