SFDG’s Weaving Waves pavilion, designed for the Malaysian Timber Council (MTC), has been permanently handed over to Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) at the Faculty of Engineering. Crafted from local Melunak timber, the pavilion reflects modularity, ease of assembly, and sustainable design innovation. Winner of the Archidex Curated Booth Award 2024, it now serves as a learning inspiration for engineering and design students. This collaboration promotes the beauty of Malaysian wood species while strengthening ties between education, design excellence, and sustainable material use.
