SFDG is proud to announce that two of its pavilion designs—crafted from recycled timber and recycled clay tiles—have been selected for construction at Lake Titiwangsa as part of Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) 2024. Aligned with the festival’s theme, “Space, Time, Meaning,” the pavilions embody sustainability, heritage, and spatial exploration. By repurposing materials, the designs emphasize resource conservation and cyclical sustainability, while creating immersive refuge spaces in an open park setting. This initiative fosters public engagement, celebrates Malaysia’s architectural heritage, and reinforces the role of design in shaping meaningful urban experiences.
