Spatial Factors Design Group is proud to have its lanyard design concept selected as the winning entry for the prestigious Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA) Forum KL 2024, organized by the Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM).

Inspired by the bold geometric patterns of the UIA 2024 logo, the design reinterprets Malaysia’s architectural heritage, drawing from the screen wall motif of the National Mosque Kuala Lumpur. The modular fragments symbolize the universal architectural unit—the house, while the arch-shaped composition evokes a sense of shelter and unity. This achievement reflects SFDG’ dedication to culturally significant, innovative design solutions that blend tradition with contemporary architectural expression.
